Wind is the ultimate expression of freedom and liberty. We have been set FREE from sin! Christians are God’s strategically placed windsocks all along the high-speed freeways of life. You can be sure people see and know whether or not the Wind of God blows through a Christian. Sin sews the sock shut and stops the flow of Wind abruptly. The result? The windsock rips and tears apart and becomes totally inoperable.
Let’s allow the Wind of God to flow freely through us all the time! Just think of the power of the wind: Eagles soar in it. Jetliners carrying hundred of passengers are lifted off the ground by it. In the heat of summer, people are cooled and refreshed by it. Whitecaps roll across the ocean by it. Rain that waters a garden is carried by a cloud that moves into place by it. The fragrance of spring flowers is carried by it. The voices of faraway chirping birds are carried by it. Birthday candles are blown out by it. Lastly, speaking spiritually, fire spreads violently by it.
