Warm Christmas 2009

Shopping in downtown Fukuoka City, JAPAN, Andrea and found this “Warm Christmas Greeting.” We shot this picture with our cell phone camera and were real happy with the “fuzzy” warm feeling. We hope you all manage to keep that “warm, fuzzy” feeling of God’s precious gift-giving love of Salvation right up through the Christmas Holy Days (that is the true meaning of the word “holidays” you know).
When Christmas comes around, and it has at an uncanny speed this year, I always get out my music and play the following two mp3 music selections by Evan Silva, a 1970s Blues singer who got saved and now pastors the Harbour City Christian Church in Auckland, New Zealand. He composes most of the worship songs they sing to the Lord in church every week. You’ve got to listen to these two mp3 files. You won’t be disappointed at all. In fact, you’ll more than likely play them twice in a row! Click on the bold, italicized song titles within the paragraphs.
Evan told me to tell you he used the old original lyrics of the Christmas classic Silent Night, and wrote his own original melody. His version of Have Yourself A Merry Christmas is, well, let’s say, “fuzzy-warm!”
As an extra, I’ll include his newest Christmas song, Call It Christmas, which has just been released on iTunes, where all of his music is available, except for Silent Night and Have Yourself A Merry Christmas.
Enjoy listening to these little Christmas presents, okay?
Merry Christmas from JAPAN,
Nils & Andrea
