Where We Are Now - MBCC
Munakata Bethel Christian Center
Where We Are Now | Overview | History

MBCC began in the Olson’s home in the fall of 1982, then moved to a main street corner in
town. After having been asked to leave that rental space, God spoke a Word of Faith to
“lease property and build.” Miraculously a large tract of lease property was offered free to
use for building what you read about here.
-- MBCC is like an active little community center where people gather for chapel concerts,
weddings bazaars, funerals, English lessons and, of course, hearing the Word of God.
-- MBCC worship services are “gospel-style” where worshipping the Lord is accompanied
by singing from the heart, musical instruments, clapping, hallelujahs, amens and rejoicing.
-- MBCC is an expression of God’s presence in the city. We often say, “There is only one
church in Munakata City, but it is located in ten different places.”
-- MBCC welcomes the gifts and ministries of the Holy Spirit. He is the breath of our local
body of believers. It is the Holy Spirit who makes Jesus real!
-- MBCC is a family-style church. There are babies, little kids, singles, moms, dads,
grandmas and grandpas all ranging in age from 1 to 70 or more.

| Call to Worship |
“Let us go into the house of the LORD.” “O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.” “O praise the LORD, all you nations: praise Him, all you people.” “Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD;
praise Him, O ye servants of the LORD.” |
Let me encourage anyone who reads these pages about the city to where God has called you to minister His love. God has strategically placed you there. You bring FLAVOR to your city, and to your church. Love your city! Love your church! Can I have an “A-men?”
