Have you ever used the Thesaurus?
Type in just a single word, and boom, you get a myriad of alternative words. For example, the word vast is not simply defined as vast, but also one can equally use one of these words:
ample, astronomical, big, boundless, broad, colossal, endless, enormous, eternal, extensive, far-flung, far-reaching, forever, gigantic, great, huge, illimitable, immeasurable, immense, infinite, limitless, mammoth, massive, monumental, never-ending, spacious, tremendous, unbounded, unlimited and widespread, just to name a few.
If you haven’t already seen this, I think you’ll enjoy it very much. Of course, when we view this kind of presentation, we must look at it through the Word of our Creator God.
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1
“You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the works of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain; and they all will wear out like a garment; as a cloak You will fold them up, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will not end.” Hebrews 1:10-12 cf. Psalm 102:25-27
